VN08: Bike Tour - Discover the south of Vietnam (9 days - 8 nights)

Day 1:   Hochiminh City

Arrive at Tan Son Nhat international airport in HCMC.

City tour to view some famous building in French constructive style: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and City Hall.

Diner on a floating restaurant cruising along Saigon River

 
Day 2:  Cuchi underground tunnel system

Visit some famous sites in HCMC: Historical Museum, China Town, Thien Hau temple...
In the afternoon, drive to visit unbelievable Cu Chi underground tunnel system- the most famous battle field in Vietnam War.

Day 3: Hochiminh City - Mytho - Bentre

Drive to My Tho in Tien Giang province, one of the 12 fertile provinces of Mekong Delta. Boat trip on the great Mekong River to visit farmer’s houses and gardens on a well-off river islet. Continue by boat to Ben Tre.

After lunch, take a bike tour around the islet, on village path through many fruit gardens. Back to My Tho in late afternoon to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda.

Day 4: Mytho - Cantho

Transfer to Can Tho. Take a bike tour in the afternoon to Cai Rang district with some stops at a noodle mill, a boat-building workshop and at a fruit orchard along Cai Son Creek to enjoy some tropical fruits. Continue the bike tour to Mieu Ong Canal and then Ong Kinh Creek to visit Long Quang pagoda, the Antique House in Binh Thuy with its famous ancient structure, and Binh Thuy temple with its still remained cultural traits. On the way back to Can Tho, visit an ancient pagoda called Nam Nha (optional).

 
Day 5: Cantho - Soctrang - Rachgia

In the morning, boat trip on Lower Branch of Mekong Rive to visit Cai Rang floating market and enjoy all the activities of local people on the river.

Drive to Soc Trang to visit Khmer pagoda, Bat pagoda, Clay pagoda.

Transfer to Rach Gia with a stop in Thot Not district to visit Bang Lang Stork Garden
 

Day 6:  Rachgia - Phquoc Insel

After breakfast, transfer Rach Gia quay to catch a public hydrofoil to Phu Quoc Island
After lunch, take an excursion to Ham Ninh Village, Chanh Stream. Overnight on Long Beach

 
Day 7: Phuquoc

In the morning, take a bike tour to visit southern of the island, Pearl-cultivating farm, Phu Quoc former prison and Sao beach.

In the afternoon: free at leisure

 
Day 8: Phuquoc

Free at leisure

Day 9: Phuquoc - Hochiminh City

Flight to HCMC.
