VN07: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Phu Quoc (7 days)

Day 1:     Saigon

Arrive in Saigon. Visit the most popular places in Saigon: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, the City Hall, Reunification Palace, War Museum, China Town, Thien Hau Temple. Visit Tay Son Lacquerware enterprise to see the artists producing their masterpieces.

Day 2:     Saigon - Cu Chi

Drive to Tay Ninh province to visit the Holly Temple of the Cao Dai religion - an extraordinary religion in the South of Vietnam. Visit Cu Chi underground tunnel system - a famous battle field in Vietnam War . Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3:     Saigon - My Tho - Can Tho

Drive to Tien Giang province, one of the fertile province in Mekong Delta with a stop in My Tho.
Boat tour on the great Mekong river and visit the orchards and a farmer's house. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda after lunch on board.
Drive to Can Tho, the centre of Mekong Delta province.

Day 4:     Can Tho - Rach Gia

Boat tour on the Hau branch of the Mekong river. Visit the famous Cai Rang floating market to see the life of local people on the water.
Drive to Rach Gia city to visit the Bang Lang Stork Gardens. Overnight in Rach Gia.

Day 5:     Rach Gia - Phu Quoc IslandPhu Quoc Island

A hydrofoil boat trip to the beautiful Phu Quoc Island.
In the afternoon, visit the fish farming village.
Overnight in a resort along the Long beach.

Day 6 :     Phu Quoc

Visit the Khu Tuong pepper garden, a fish sauce fabric, the Sung Hung pagoda and Duong Dong market.
In the afternoon, visit a pearl farm and the Sao beach.
Evening: free at leisure.

Day 7 :     Phu Quoc - Saigon

Either a seabath on the beautiful beach with crytal-clear water in Phu Quoc or shopping in Duong Dong market.
Flight back to HCMC.
